Bus Driver

Koosharem Elementary ~ Beginning 2024-2025 School Year

Qualifications:

The successful applicant must either have a school bus driver endorsement or be willing to complete the training and certification requirements. All Piute County School District employees must complete a successful background check. 

Job Description and Function:

The successful applicant will drive the school bus route from Greenwich to Koosharem Elementary in the morning and in the afternoon, as well as the activity run from Piute High School to Koosharem. General bus driver duties are detailed in school district policy #1141.

Compensation:

This position is paid at an hourly rate determined by Lane 2 and Level 19 of the school district salary schedule. This rate is expected to be $21.69/hour for the 2024-2025 school year. This position is expected to work an estimated 18 hours each week. Weekly hours may be modified by the transportation director. This position would also be eligible to receive more driving hours as a substitute or activity driver. This position does not qualify for benefits.
