5043 - Reporting Student Achievement
Letter grades reflect several scores, among them, scores for preparation, class work, quizzes, etc. Major tests and assignments which relate to course credit may be designated for mastery and retaught and retested when students demonstrate they are prepared to succeed. However, not all aspects of the grading system fall into the mastery test and retest program.
Teachers will keep students and parents informed regarding test/retest requirements and options.
At any time it is determined that a student is failing, parents must be immediately informed.
