For Bus Drivers, Custodians, Cooks, and Teachers
Job Description and Function:
Piute High School, Circleville Elementary, and Oscarson Elementary are seeking candidates for substitute bus drivers, custodians, cooks, and teachers. Applicants will be expected to complete some training with school staff prior to receiving an assignment as a substitute.
Qualifications:
Applicants for these positions should first have a positive attitude and find joy in working with school age children. Applicants wanting to substitute in food services are expected to obtain a food handlers permit and substitute bus drivers must complete training for a school bus endorsement on their drivers license. The school district may assist applicants in receiving any necessary training.
Compensation:
Substitutes are paid an hourly rate based on job duties. The substitute rates for the 2021-2022 school year are expected to be…Bus Driver $18.28/hour, Custodian $12.84/hour, Cook $12.52/hour, Teacher $13.16/hour, Long-Term Teacher $21.40/hour.
