Qualifications:
Applicants for this position should first have a positive attitude and find joy in working with and teaching high school teenagers. Knowledge of golf and required fundamentals are helpful. Applicants must be willing to complete all first aid, CPR, concussion, and rules training required by the UHSAA. All potential employees must pass a background check.
Job Description and Function:
The head coach would begin with the Spring of the 2027 season. The Spring Golf season runs from March 1- May 19, 2027. The successful head coach applicant will be expected to organize the team schedule, supervise daily practices, complete team administrative paperwork, teach participants required skills, complete other duties as assigned by the principal, and any other job duties listed in district policy #1144.
Compensation:
These positions are paid a stipend based on years of experience as explained on the district Coaches and Advisors Stipend Schedule. Stipends are paid in two equal payments at mid-season and end of season with regular payrolls. Assuming no prior coaching experience the stipend would be: $2,710.
