NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

Notice is hereby given that the Piute County School District will receive Proposals on or before Monday,
April 21, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. for the construction of the following:

PIUTE HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL FIELD

These Contract Documents may be obtained on or after Monday, April 7, 2025. An electronic copy of the
contract documents will be available from the school district or from KMA Architects. All proposals must

Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. All questions must be submitted in writing, and all questions with
answers will be posted to the district website following the deadline for questions. There will be no
mandatory site meeting, but contractors are welcome to schedule a time to inspect the site in person.

Project Scope: The project consists of the construction of a new softball field, masonry dugouts, batting
cage, and update of the surrounding site with a new sidewalk and sprinkler system. The new field will be
located on the north end of Piute High School's existing baseball field. A new scoreboard will be
furnished by the owner and installed by the contractor.

Project Location: Piute High School, 555 N 100 W St, Junction, UT 84740
Construction Documents and Scope Sheets (proposal form) must be used for submitting a proposal for
this project and will be provided by KMA Architects.
The Board reserves the right to accept any or reject any or all proposals, or waive any informality in a
proposal.

Full-Time Language Arts Teacher

Piute High School ~ 2025-2026

Qualifications:

Applicants for this position should first have a positive attitude and find joy in working with youth. Applicants will be expected to have a bachelor's degree. Applicants must either hold a current Utah teaching license with the secondary Language Arts endorsement or be willing to obtain proper licensure. All potential employees must pass a background check.

Job Description and Function:

The successful applicant will be expected first to be a quality role model for young people. The successful applicant will be responsible for all of the regular teaching duties outlined in district policy #1138. This position will teach varying Language Arts courses ranging from 7th grade to 12th grade. This position may also be asked to teach other courses as needed. The successful applicant will also complete other job duties as assigned by the principal.

Compensation:

This position is paid a salary based on education and years of experience according to the school district salary schedule. The expected salary range for this position is $54,000-$74,000. This position includes a standard family health insurance package with 100% of the premium paid by the school district. This position includes Utah Retirement Systems benefits and 10 annual days of paid leave as explained in district policy #2047.
